…Was looking for a physical challenge. Marti first rolled out a mat in a hot yoga class about 10 years ago. It wasn’t long before she noticed an improvement in other athletic disciplines. As a lifelong athlete and distance runner, she has come to see yoga as an essential part of training and recovery. Through yoga, she has learned the importance of bringing together mind, body and breath when taking on new challenges.
Marti completed her 200-hour teacher training at East Lansing Hot Yoga in spring 2017. Her goal is to help students discover balance through movement and breath.
