Emily attended her first yoga class in 2013 to find a physical challenge and a break in her busy life as a full time MSU student. She immediately loved the balance, mindfulness, and sense of community offered through yoga. Yoga quickly became not only an opportunity to move and sweat, but also a way to grow mentally and spiritually on and off the mat.
After attending classes regularly, Emily decided to further her practice by completing her 200-hour teacher training at East Lansing Hot Yoga in spring 2017. She hopes to share her love of yoga with her students through the power of breath and movement.
