…I started doing barre last April and quickly fell in love! As a school counselor, I am frequently teaching students about healthy coping skills. However, I was in desperate need of one of my own! Barre quickly became that for me, and I decided to become instructor certified in September. Although barre is an up-beat fusion of yoga, pilates, and ballet, I also like to take the time to rejuvenate our minds. I value thanking our bodies for being strong and fueling us through life instead of focusing on how they look. We are all beautiful and unique and deserve to care for ourselves! Additionally, I teach a 12 Step Recovery barre/yoga class that is welcome to any and all addictions. This is something close to my heart, and I am blessed to be able to mend the 12 step program and exercise together to foster physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
We will tone, strengthen, and challenge your body through small movements that isolate each muscle. I genuinely look forward to barre; is the perfect way to provide balance in my life and I can’t wait to share that experience with you!
