200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training September 11th-November 17th, 2019
What To Expect
Yoga Teacher Trainees can expect to learn the importance of connecting breath to movement through the short form Ashtanga primary sequence. From there we will flow into learning the elements of a Vinyasa class–from creating a sacred space for a student individually and the community space we all share; to the formation of sequences to take students to their edge eventually allowing a space for surrender, release and gratitude. This training will of course equip active and engaged students to teach a yoga class, but will also allow a lot of self-exploration and development, all while building a camaraderie amongst the group as a whole.
Who To Expect
Maggie Olds E-RYT 200 and Samantha Corbit RYT 500, E-RYT 200, will be the lead instructors. Some of our teachers from MI Hot Yoga will be guest teachers throughout the training. Other workshops may be added as well.
